St. Pats Karate Club was opened on the 9th of February, 2007. Here is a current list of the tournaments we have competed in and the medals our students have won:

 We have competed in 48 Tournaments and have picked up 229 Medals (49 x 1st; 49 x 2nd; 125 x 3rd)
                                                                         
  In 2007  we competed in 10 tournaments 8 in wales picking up, 6  golds , 8  silvers , 16 bronzes
                                                             2 in england picking up, 1  bronze 

  In 2008 we competed in 13 toutnaments 8 in wales picking up, 2  golds , 15 silvers , 22 bronze 
                                                            5 in england picking up, 6  golds , 4 silvers , 9 bronze

  In 2009 we competed in 12 tournaments 8 in wales picking up ,10  golds , 15 silvers , 33 bronze 
                                                           4 in england picking up,1 gold , 1 silver , 6 bronze

  in 2010 we competed in 3 tournaments 2 in wales picking up , 2 golds , 3 silvers , 4 bronze
                                                          1 in england picking up , 4 bronze

  in 2011 we competed in 10 tournaments 3 in wales picking up , 6 golds , 4 silvers , 12 bronze 
                                                          7 in england picking up , 14 golds , 5 silver ,  14 bronze medal
                                                        
st pats karate club has only been running since febuary 2007 which is very new for a karate club in this day and age
it was started with just 1 , 1st dan black belt and just 3 , 7 kyus ( green belts ) we are very proud of what we have
achieved , we are not all about competions but in the world of any competive sport unfortunatly your critics will only
measure your success by how you compete , we have achieved a lot in terms of special need classes ,
deaf and hearing impedaments classes , classes for the blind and visualy imperad as well as being able to offer classes
to wheelchair able students and a great club for children under the age of 8 years old and from the age of 4 years
and also attempted classes for people over the age of 55 years old which still have students from that class training
with in the club , but our critics will say how good are the students and by that will mean what have they won in
competitons well we have competed in 47 tournaments  picking up 229 medals which include 49 1st places
in england we have competed in only 17 tournaments but still picked up 53 medals which include 21 1st places 
                                                         all of this in just  4 years
