THE LITTLE SAMURAI CLASS , AT ST PAULS HALL GRANGETOWN 
   THIS SESSION HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE EARLY TIME OF
                                          9.45 - 10.45  
this is due to the church needing to accomidate another event this

MOVED TO ST PAULS HALL , PAGET STREET GRANGETOWN WHICH
IS JUST UP THE ROAD FROM ST PATS , THE REASON BEING FOR THE
COMFORT OF THE STUDENTS , HAS WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH 
HEATING IN ST PATS HALL , THIS WILL BE A PERMANENT CHANGE

                                       cancelled session

our regular session on a sunday for our little samurais has been cancelled
the reason for this is to allow sensei a day of for personal and family
reasons , there is still a regular session on a saturday and also on a
wednesday that you can attend this is a permanent cancelled class
but the gradings will still be held on a sunday , there will be dates annouced
                                   within the next 2 weeks

any student that brings a new member to any evening club will train that session
                                             FREE

if there is more than one child in the family that introduces the new student
                        then that family will train free that session

we had a small team go to the welsh karate kai at port talbots afon lido sports center , we had 17 students competing and came away with 10 medals in total ,
all students performed well , zak and daniel were unlucky in the special needs catergories , jamie and enzo still picking up bronze medals , also kitty , Ella and amirah great performances in kata and are ones to watch for the future , and a silver medal for daniel green who is slowly getting his form back , fahema islam medaling for the first time in only her 2nd competion , and good perfomances from layla , nimo , amera , hannah and adem ,
in the kumite events were some of or best performances to date with yusuf fighting very well going out in the quter finals in extra time after 2 very good wins in the previos rounds , adem yusuf winning gold along with hannah with again best performances to date , nadia liban again medaling coming 3rd and also great fights from layla , nimo , amani , and fahema islam picking up a second silver medal this time in kumite , we also had callum williams putting on a good performane picking up a bronze medal in what is now for him a older catergorie and is developing all the time well done callum , and daniel green making a welcome return to the fighting scene picking up silver ,

this now brings our medal total to 63 medals in 11 tornaments in 2009 , and since the club was formed in 2007 we have now competed in 34 tournaments picking up no less than 154 medals the tornament league is know up to date along with the attendence league and medal table , next tournaments saturday 5th december vale under 8s comp and sunday the 6th of december W,K,U kyu grade comp in western super mare
