IS JUST UP THE ROAD FROM ST PATS , THE REASON BEING FOR THE
COMFORT OF THE STUDENTS , HAS WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH
HEATING IN ST PATS HALL , THIS WILL BE A PERMANENT CHANGE

cancelled session

our regular session on a sunday for our little samurais has been cancelled
the reason for this is to allow sensei a day of for personal and family
reasons , there is still a regular session on a saturday and also on a
wednesday that you can attend this is a permanent cancelled class
but the gradings will still be held on a sunday , there will be dates annouced
within the next 2 weeks

any student that brings a new member to any evening club will train that session
                                             FREE
if there is more than one child in the family that introduces the new student
                        then that family will train free that session

Grading Syllabus for All KYU Grades

Your grading will be marked in 4 Sections:
1 - Presentation
2 - kion
3 - kata
4 - kumite

To pass your grading you must pass 3 of the 4 sections. You must also have attended at least 18 training sessions.

Section 1 - Presentation:

Your grading form must be filled in with a minimum of 18 training sessions. Including one grading course. Juniors under 16 must have a signature stating they have the right attitude towards fellow students and all adults.
Your karate GI (suit) must be clean and pressed with club badge.
Boys must never wear a t-shirt of any kind under GI. Girls must ALWAYS wear a white vest under the GI. Girls without a vest will not be able to grade or train.
No jewellery is to be worn. (Wedding rings can be worn if covered with a plaster.)
When your name is called you must say oz sensei and run to you line ready for your grading exam to begin.
When you are waiting to grade and when you have finished you must not talk or move about. Disturbing the grading in any way will fail you on this section.
